A second person dies from injuries sustained in a head-on crash.

86-year-old Deane Allen died Tuesday. His wife Cora died on Saturday from injuries sustained in the same crash.

The Allen’s were involved in a head-on crash when a car they were in swerved left of center and crashed into an on coming pickup truck. Two people in the truck were treated and released at the hospital.

The crash happened last Friday afternoon near the intersection of Magnolia and Simpson Road.

A memorial service celebrating the lives of Deane and Cora May Allen will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church in Salina. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 am until the hour of the service. Interment will follow at the White City Cemetery at 3 p.m.
