I have been employed by Saline County for 19 years. In 2011, I was appointed to Saline County Deputy Clerk/Election Officer by Saline County Clerk Don Merriman.
I completed the Kansas Certified County Clerk (CCC) designation in 2015 and completed year one of the Master County Clerk (MCCC) credential this year. In 2015 I graduated Leadership Salina and completed the Kansas Association of Counties’ Institute of Excellence Foundations in County Government Leadership Program as well as a MiniMPA (Masters in Public Administration) program at the Hugo Wall School of Public Affairs, Wichita State University.
The Kansas Secretary of State recently appointed me to the committee to establish a Request for Proposal and review submissions by vendors for the statewide Election Voter Registration System (ELVIS). I continue to sit on the ELVIS committee in the Kansas County Clerk and Election Official Association (KCCEOA).
A native of Saline County, Mo., I have lived in Saline County, Kan. for 21 years.
I have two children, Levi, 19; and Ryann, 16.
I am the current Saline County Deputy County Clerk and Election Officer, and I have been a part of Saline County government for the past 19 years. I have been in public service since 1991, I am truly passionate about what I do, and I enjoy helping others. I have been a part of every aspect of the Saline County Clerk’s office including the administration of elections, training election workers, working with taxing authorities on budgets, and compiling data to complete required state reports. My goal is to be your next County Clerk and Election Officer so that I can continue to serve Saline County as a positive, professional, and dedicated public servant.
