A Salina woman is facing charges for allegedly smashing a truck’s window and pointing a gun at a former boyfriend.

According to Lt. Mike Smith with the Saline County’s Sheriff’s Office, around 8:30am Thursday morning, a loud crash was heard and 35-year-old Dustin Small was alerted that someone was standing near his Ford F150 pickup at his home in rural Assaria on East Borgmeyer Lane.

Deputies say Small ran outside and saw 33-year-old Tonya Stout jump into the passenger seat of a car that drove away.

He followed until the car pulled over at the intersection of K-4 Highway and Ohio. A verbal argument ensued.

Deputies say Stout is now facing criminal charges for allegedly pointing a black pistol at Small.

No one was hurt.

Damage to the 2002 Ford is listed at $500.

Dustin Small is also facing charges for violating a protect from abuse order, for making contact with Ms. Stout.
