Salina Woman Killed in Crash

A Salina woman was killed in a crash on Interstate 70 Friday night.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2004 Venture Van driven by 35-year-old Misty Marie Miller of Salina was headed west, in the driving lane. The van went left of center, went across the median, and struck a an oncoming Freightliner semi that was headed east.

Miller, who was not buckled up, was killed in the crash. No one in the semi, including the driver and a passenger in the sleeper area, was hurt.

The crash happened at about 7:00 Friday night, east of Salina near the Solomon Rest Area.
