Salina Police Log 7-13-16

An identity theft case and a stolen gun highlight Wednesday’s Salina Police log.

Police say that 33-year-old Gary Ingram Jr. was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly using his father’s credit to make make $408 in purchases from the Sears store in the Salina Central Mall. Ingram was in the process of filling out a MasterCard application in the store’s jewelry department, using his father’s information, when police caught him. He could face charges that include identity theft, criminal use of a financial card, forgery, and felony theft.

Police are looking for a stolen gun. Sometime between April 15th and July 12th a black Smith and Wesson .22 caliber revolver was stolen from a vehicle at 1950 Ridglea Drive in east Salina. There was no sign of forced entry to the vehicle. Total loss is $650.
