Salina Police Log 7-11-16

A couple of burglaries and a stolen bicycle highlight Monday’s Salina Police Log.

Police say that sometime between June 30th and July 10th a video game system and three games were stolen from a home at 853 Pontiac. A door was forced open to gain entry to the home, and a bedroom door inside was damaged to gain access the room. A Sony Playstation 4, controllers, a Black Ops game, FIFA 16 game, and a Grand Theft Auto 5 game were all taken. Total loss and damage is estimated at $860.

Police say that a thief stole a bicycle from the the American Inn at 1820 West Crawford. Sometime late Friday or early Saturday a Surly Disc Trucker touring bicycle was stolen. The bicycle belongs to a man from St. Louis who was staying at the motel. The dark green bicycle had been left mounted on a vehicle. Total loss is estimated at $1,400.

Police say that various hand tools, copper, and copper fittings were stolen from Valmont Industries at  1100 North Ohio. The items were stolen sometime between June 1st and July 8th. Total loss is estimated at $1,234.
