Thieves leave a car on cinder blocks after stealing tires off it. Police say that between 5:00 Tuesday evening and 8:00 Wednesday morning three tires were stolen from 2008 Volkswagen parked at R & A Auto Electric at 522 N. 8th Street in Salina. A window on the car was also shattered. Total loss and damage is $550.

A 1997 Geo Prism was stolen sometime between 9 PM Tuesday ad 12:30 AM Wednesday. The car has a Kansas license plate 711 JGL on it. The keys were taken from the owner’s purse. Total loss is $1,000.
