Salina Police Log 5-2-16

Dozens of items were stolen from a Salina business over the weekend. Police say someone broke a window to enter Mr. Reasonables, 115 W. Pacific, sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning and walked out with numerous fishing reels, batteries, pocket knives, costume jewelry pieces, sunglasses, shampoo and popcorn balls. Loss and and damage is estimated at $940.

 

Police are investigating after an enclosed trailer was broken into while parked at 624 N. Santa Fe. Sometime between April 13th and 27th, someone stole a Miller brand Blue Star welder and a Miller 200 Mig welder. Loss and damage is listed at $4,100.

 

Sherry Kibler told police all 4 tires were punctured on a 2003 Ford Explorer. She said her tail lights were broken causing dents on the vehicle as well. Damage is $800.

 

Fred Arnold of Salina told police his Apple iPhone 6 was stolen from Sam’s Club, 2919 Market Place on Friday afternoon after he left it on a table in the food court. When he returned the device was gone. Loss is $650.

 

Dustin Medina of Salina told police his 2001 Tomos moped was stolen from a warehouse, 138 S. 4th Street sometime between noon on Saturday and 4:20pm. Loss is listed at $2,500.
