Salina Police Log 4-25-16

Multiple power tools are stolen from a construction project inside a Salina home. Police say someone broke a small glass window adjacent to a door to enter a home in the 2300 block of Pinecrest, sometime between Monday night at 6:30pm and Tuesday morning at 7:15am. Once inside someone stole numerous power tools owned by Lee Haworth Construction of Salina. Total loss and damage is listed at $3,400.

Salina Police were contacted by Deanna Baird of Salina after she realized someone had forged three of her personal checks at Salina’s Wal-Mart on April 19th in the amount of $705.69.

Two vehicles were vandalized in the 2200 block of Pheasant Lane sometime between Friday afternoon and Sunday morning. Police say a 2011 Subaru Outback had its exterior paint scratched while a 2014 Chevy Impala’s paint was also damaged during the same time frame. Damage is estimated at $1,000 each.

A truck reported stolen was found damaged a short time later. Police say 23-year-old Adrian Richardson reported his 2000 Dodge truck stolen from the 600 block of E. Pacific. The truck which is valued at $4,000 was found wrecked a short time later with major frame damage.

Police report 5 windows and a fence were vandalized at the former St. Johns Hospital, 139 N. Penn sometime between April 14th and 23rd. Total damage is estimated at $600.
