Salina Police are reviewing video from the lot at The Car Shoppe, 1409 W. Crawford, after two people jumped into a 2005 GMC truck and drove off. Police say sometime early Saturday morning between 4:20am and 5am the white, pickup valued at $22,000 was stolen.


Police are investigating after two tires were punctured on a vehicle that was parked at 2231 Meadowlark. Police say the both tires on the passenger side of the Chevy Equinox were both flattened. Loss is $500.


Police are investigating a forgery case after a couple of fake checks were cashed at two First Bank Kansas locations on April 12th and April 15th. Police say someone printed bogus checks from Transervice Logistics, 413 E. Berg Rd., and passed one check at the bank’s S.9th location for over $2,300 and another at the S. Santa Fe location for over $2,200.


Police are looking for thieves who stole one 5-ton compressor and two 4-ton compressors from a vacant building located at 204 S. Broadway sometime between April 11 and April 15. Loss is listed at $6,500.

By the way they buy these trucks wholesale so the loss is not 22k. Reporting the real price paid for this truck should be required.
