Salina Police Log 3-23-16

Sometime between March 15th and March 21st a burglary was committed at a home at 2701 Deborah. Items taken include men’s jewelry including watches, rings, a necklace, a video game system and two games, spare change, and a glass pitcher with Kappa Sigma on the side. Total loss is estimated at $1,850.

Sometime between March 22nd between 2:15 and 4:15 in the afternoon a burglary was committed at 707 Sherman. Cash, a video game system, and oxycodone prescription drugs were taken. Total loss is estimated at $1,150.

On March 22nd between 1:13 and 1:23 in the afternoon a locked bicycle parked at Cottonwood Elementary School at 215 South Phillips Street was stolen. A stocky white male with reddish hair, between 18 – 23 years of age, wearing red shorts and a dark gray hoodie was seen riding the bike away. Total loss, including a black Avis U lock and a red Mirraco Detroit BMX bike is placed at $670.00.

On March 22nd between 1:45 in the morning and 1:30 in the afternoon a vandal broke several windows on two vehicles parked at 110 South 11th Street. A blunt object was used to break the windshield and a side window on both a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe and a 1997 Chevrolet Camaro. Total damage is estimated at $2,500.
