Police are investigating a theft from a unit at Chapel Ridge Apartments last week. The victim told officers a known suspect stole her iPhone 6, three baseball caps and an air mattress. Loss is listed at $580.

On Friday, staff at First Bank Kansas, 2860 S. 9th found a counterfeit $100 bill in a deposit from Rib Crib, 3025 S. 9th. Police say the bill was marked, “For Studio Use Only.”
