Another Salina man falls victim to a scam.
A 35-year-old male sent payments to a man claiming to be an attorney representing Cash Advance and said that victim owed $1500.
The victim wired $125 per month starting in June 2015 via Moneygram, for a total loss of $375. The 35-year-old said he did owe $370 to Advance America, which is where he got confused.
After paying the $375 and the “attorney” said he owed more money, the victim grew suspicious and alerted police authorities.
