Salina Man In I-70 Motorcycle Crash

A Salina man was in a crash that involved three motorcycles on Interstate 70 Saturday afternoon.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 31-year-old Chad Haynes of Hays was riding a 2010 Harley Davidson motorcycle, headed east on I-70.  He collided with a 2003 Harley ridden by 19-year-old Riley Faris of Salina.

Haynes’ motorcycle layed over the in the road. It was run over by a 1999 Harley Davidson ridden by 37-year-old Dustin Werner of Maize.

Haynes was hurt, and was transported to a hospital in Wichita.  Werner refused transport to the hospital, and Faris was not injured.

The crash happened on I-70 in Russsell County just before 2:00 Saturday afternoon, three miles east of Bunker Hill.
