Salina Man Hurt In Weekend Motorcycle Crash

A Salina man is hurt in a weekend motorycle crash.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 56-year-old David Wallace was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle north on I-135 at too high a rate of speed.  After making an unsafe turn, he was not able to negotiate the ramp to I-70. The motorcycle left the road and rolled, ejecting the rider.

Wallace was hurt, and was transported to Salina Regional Health Center. Troopers say that he was not wearing a helmet.

The crash happend Saturday afternoon at the I-135 / I-70 junction northwest of Salina.
