Salina Man Hurt in Rollover Crash

A Saline County Sheriff’s Deputy witnesses a rollover crash after the driver hit speeds of over 100-mph.

Sheriff Glen Kochanowski tells KSAL News that a deputy began to trail a vehicle that rolled through a stop sign early Friday morning at the intersection of Waterwell and Burma Roads.

The Sheriff says 23-year-old Leslie Rhodeman of Salina then sped up while driving northbound on Burma until he lost control about 5 miles later where the pavement turns into dirt north of Old Highway 40.

Deputies say the 2007 Mercury Milan rolled multiple times and was destroyed in the crash.
