A Salina man was injured in a crash on Interstate 70 near Gorham early Monday morning.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 30-year-old David Shaw of Salina was driving a 2000 Ford Crown Victoria headed east.

Shaw went off the right side of road and struck a guard rail, before coming back across road and striking a bridge rail. The car then spun around and came to rest on the left shoulder.

Shaw, who was buckled up, was hurt. He was transported to Hays Medical Center.

The crash happened at 7:35 Monday morning, 1.5 miles west of Gorham on Interstate 70 in Ellis County.
