A Salina man is in custody for allegedly raping, battering and threatening a female acquaintance.

Zachary Gordon, 21 of Salina, allegedly held a female acquaintance in her 20’s against her will in a residence in North Salina early yesterday morning when he raped and battered her.

A third party reported the crime, and Salina police arrested him shortly thereafter.

The victim was treated at Salina Regional Health Center after the crime was reported.
