Salina Hotel Robbed

Police respond to an early morning robbery at a hotel.

According to Lt. Scott Siemsen, two white males who had been milling around the lobby at about 5:40am, jumped over the counter at the Hampton Inn, 401 W. Schilling Rd., and told the female clerk to put her hands up.

Police say no weapon was displayed – but the two opened the cash drawer and left with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police are reviewing video footage from the hotel and a nearby convenience store.

The suspects are described at two white males, approximately 18-years of age.

One was dressed in a blue hat, white shirt and blue jeans while other suspect was wearing a black hat, black shirt and Nike shoes.

The clerk was not injured in the incident.
