Residential Burglary in Gypsum

An unoccupied home was broken into in Gypsum.

The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after burglars entered a home in the 700 block of Hawkes in Gypsum sometime between July 2 and October 23 and removed a Maytag washer/dryer valued at $4,000.

Also stolen was a 42-inch flat screen TV, gas grill, kids Corvette bed and a Chicago Bears scoreboard clock.

Owner Heather Cabrera also told deputies that someone removed the double doors on her refrigerator, but left the appliance behind on the porch.

Loss and damage is estimated at $5,350.
