Saline County Sheriff Deputies are looking for a person who threw a rock and shattered a window on a moving road grader.

Saline County Sheriff Glen Kochanowski says that a  county John Deer road grader was working in the 3500 block of W. Water Well on Wednesday afternoon.

The driver observed a pickup truck approaching. As the pickup, a red four-door, approached a person hung out the passenger side window and threw a large rock. The rock hit the windshield of the grader, and shattered it.

The person who threw the rock is described as black juvenile. The driver’s race is unknown, but he was wearing a cowboy hat.

Damage to the grader is estimated at $1,000.

There were no injuries.
