Salina Police are reviewing surveillance video from several stores after someone broke into a car and used two stolen financial cards to make illegal purchases.

Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that the thief then used a debit card and credit card at Target, Wal-Mart and the Kwik Shop on West Schilling to make three purchases in excess of $290.

The victim originally contacted police after her 2012 Nissan Cube was broken into while it was parked at Planet Fitness, 2012 S. Ohio last Friday.

Police say her wallet and wedding ring were stolen and loss and damage was listed at $3,500.
