A Salina man was arrested for assaulting two men near a gathering at a bonfire on early Saturday.

Deputies with the Saline County Sheriff’s Office took 32-year-old Dustin D. Tyler into custody for allegedly punching 20-year-old Jordan Purdhan and 19-year-old Ryan Koch.

Deputies say the two were using a coyote call away from a house located in the 5400 block of E. North when Tyler approached them to talk.

Moments later he punched them and drove away in his truck.

Koch suffered some loose teeth in the attack while Purdham had cuts on his face.
