Power Tools Stolen

Five chainsaws are stolen from a work truck.

Police are investigating a theft case, after being contacted by a Salina man who had multiple chain saws removed from his pickup.

Police say sometime between 6am and 7:30am Thursday, someone unlocked a cargo storage box on a truck owned by Cody Steele, and stole 5 chainsaws. The vehicle was parked in the 1600 block of W. Crawford at the time.

The inventory include 3 Stihl, 1 Jonsered and 1 Husqvarna chainsaw.

Total loss is listed at $1,550.

It was that gal that the sheriff was looking for as she could not find any mail so deceided to try chain saws. That way she could cut the mail boxes off their posts. LOL
