A Salina man was arrested on charges of raping a girl that links back to incidents that took place in 2008, and up to the present.

Police arrested 32-year-old Steven Lee Brown last week after a family member told officers about the alleged events that took place in a central Salina home with a juvenile female.

Police say Brown and the girl were acquainted.
