Police Name Author of Bomb Note

Police release more details about a student who was arrested Wednesday morning after a threatening note was found at Salina Central High School.

According to Captain Mike Sweeney, 15-year-old Cody Littlepage was taken into custody after a hand written note was found in the second floor boys restroom at Central High School.

Captain Sweeney tells KSAL News that Littlepage allegedly went to notify a faculty member about finding the note.

Before they reached the restroom, another student discovered it and alerted staff.

Police say the note warned about a bomb being placed at both Salina Central High School and Salina South High School.
An investigation found there was no danger to students, faculty, or staff.

Parents were notified via phone calls and texts.

Police say they don’t suspect Littlepage had a hand in two other previous threats at the school.

The teen is now facing felony criminal charges and is being held at the Junction City Juvenile Detention Center.
