Salina Police were called to a domestic dispute at an apartment building on East Iron Sunday afternoon.

Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that a neighbor called police at about 4:20pm after hearing a dispute escalate next door.

Officers arrested 41-year-old Terry Rogers for violated a ‘no contact’ protection order – put in place to protect the with the woman he was arguing with inside the apartment complex at 1111 E. Iron.

Rogers is now facing additional charges for trying to head-butt an officer at the scene. Police say he also spit at officers while saying he had an infectious disease.
