Salina Police are investigating a residential burglary on S. 11th and a stolen snow blower on W. Magnolia.

Police say Gayle DeVore of Salina told officers that someone entered his apartment in the 200 block of South 11th New Year’s Eve and stole seven, $100 bills that were in his wallet. He said he left the apartment unlocked from about 11:30pm to 12:30am. No damage was reported, total loss is $700. The crime was reported to police on January 7th.

Police are also investigating a vehicle burglary that occurred Tuesday morning between 6am and 6:25am. Richard Augustine told officers he parked his truck in the 1600 block of W. Magnolia and left a 24-inch Troy Bilt snow blower in the pickup bed. When he came back to his truck a short time later it was gone. The snow blower is valued at $450.
