Police are investigating an alleged theft from a store in the Salina Central Mall. Express Your Cell reports that numerous cellular telephone accessories were stolen over a period of time, dating back to August of 2013. Items taken include among other things cell phone batteries, cases,  and screen protectors. Total loss is listed at $14,000.

Police are investigating an alleged jewelry theft. Sometime between October 1st and December 31st of 2014, jewelry was taken from a safe in a home at 652 S 9th Street. Missing jewelry includes four rings and two necklaces. Total loss is listed at $2,950 total
