Police Log 3-16-15

Salina Police are investigating the theft of prescription drugs from a van. Police say someone removed multiple prescriptions from an unlocked van on Thursday afternoon that was parked at 1102 Armory. The medications were valued at $1,200.

Police say a wallet and cash were taken from a vehicle parked in the 100 block of S. Chicago Street. The victim also told officers that someone had stolen a gun safe with $700 cash inside along with two change bottles full of about $500 in change sometime between March 6th and March 15th. Total loss is listed at $1,400.

Police are investigating the theft of three flat screen TVs from a storage building at 135 N. Santa Fe. The victim told officers that a construction crew working nearby may have left a door unlocked after they used the entryway to gain access to water in the building. Total loss is listed at $1,400.
