Police Log 1-5-15

Salina Police are investigating a business vehicle burglary. Police report sometime between 5pm on Friday and Saturday at 2:41pm, someone entered two vehicles, a 1995 Ford F250 and a 2000 Chevrolet van owned by Summit Plumbing, 317 N. 12th and stole some tools. Police say a handle was broken on a tool box and some welding tools were taken along with some scrap copper. Total loss and damage is listed at $600.

Police say another counterfeit bill was discovered in an area bank deposit. Staff at Bennington State Bank found a fake $50 bill in a January 2nd deposit from Coors Crown Distributing, 601 N. 2nd.
