Police arrest a man who allegedly left a Central Mall store with a bag full of clothing.

Officers located 44-year-old Marquis Richardson of Salina, around 8pm on Friday night, near the corner of 9th and Saturn and arrested him on charges of shoplifting. Police say he walked out of the Sears store with a bag filled with 12 pair of Levis’ Jeans, socks, underwear and shirts.

Staff told officers he left the bag inside the mall and fled on foot after staff from the store confronted him.

Items worth an estimated $896, were recovered. Police say he will face a felony charge because of prior convictions.
