Pink Week At Kansas Wesleyan University

This week is pink week at Kansas Wesleyan University.

The Kansas Wesleyan University Athletic Department, in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, is raising funds for the Tammy Walker Cancer Center this year during Pink Week Activities.

The week kicks off on Monday with a special fundraiser at Chili’s. For any customer with the promotional voucher, Chili’s will donate 10% of the sales to the Tammy Walker Cancer Center. Coyote coaches and student-athletes will be at the restaurant to welcome guests during the lunch and dinner hours.

The soccer and volleyball games this week will include silent auction for game-worn pink jerseys. There will be a number of other special events taking place at the games, including bake sales and raffles.

Pink KWU t-shirts will be available for sale at each game. All KWU teams that week will show solidarity by wearing pink on their uniforms.

Pink week events are as follows:

Monday, October 21: Coyotes for the Cure special Chili’s Fundraiser

Tuesday, October 22: Women’s soccer vs. Bethel College, 8:30 p.m., Salina Stadium

Thursday, October 24: Men’s soccer vs. Bethel College, 8:30 p.m., Salina Stadium

Friday, October 25: Volleyball vs. Tabor College, 5:30 p.m., Mabee Arena
