PHOTO GALLERY: Sunday Storms Drop Large Hail

KSAL Staff - June 7, 2015 8:38 pm

Severe weather rolled through the area Sunday evening, dropping large hail.

In Central Kansas, storms rumbled through portions of Lincoln, Ottawa, Saline, Dickinson, and Clay counties. Along with heavy rain, hail larger than golf balls fell.

Damage, including broken windows, was reported near the communities of Tescott and Culver.

A trained weather spotter spotted a funnel northwest of Salina. The funnel did not develop into a tornado.

As the storms passed, a colorful rainbow could be seen from behind them.
