Paintball to The Rescue

A Salina man is trying to paint a better world for those in recovery with a paintball tournament at Elite Sports.

Chris Heffner joined in on the KSAL Morning News Monday with a look at his upcoming event aimed at having fun and raising money for the Salina Rescue Mission and Ashby House.

“We have a group rate, $15 will cover all your equipment you need to play,” Heffner said. “That’s Co2, your tank, your marker and 100 rounds of paint.”

The “Friends of Recovery Paintball Shootout” is Saturday, April 2nd from 2pm to 5pm and will take place rain or shine at the Elite Sports Complex, 7928 S. Old Hwy 81, Assaria.

A free bus ride to the event is leaving the Ad Astra parking lot at 1:30pm on April 2nd. The $15 donation pays for course time, paitball gun, mask, goggles and 100 rounds of paint.
