Salina Police are investigating the theft and unauthorized use of a financial card in Salina.

Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that Evan Slick of Bennington contacted authorities after discovering his wallet and its contents had been stolen in early October in Ottawa County.

Police say Slick’s credit card was then used three times on October 22, to purchase items at Wal-Mart and Casey’s General Store.

Police say items including two 65-inch TVs and other electronics racked up a bill of over $2,400.
