Open House on Salina Campus

K-State Polytechnic’s Open House on Saturday is promicing not only a glimpse of how high-tech is being used in the classroom – but a high-five from Willie the Wildcat.

“This is your chance to see all of our programs, we’ve got hands on demonstrations and student projects,” said Kirsten Zoller Events Coordinator on the Salina campus.

Zoller joined in on the KSAL Morning News with a preview of the day which runs from 9am to 2pm.

Zoller says that visitors will have a chance to tour the campus, enjoy a free scoop of K-State’s famous Call Hall ice cream and share a smile with Willie the Wildcat for a photo opportunity from 11am to 12:30pm.

“Bring the young ones out, we’ve got activities for the whole family and some great food with three food trucks,” Zoller said.

The Flight Team will host a Pancake Breakfast at 7:30am to 10am.

Kansas-State Polytechnic’s Open House is Saturday, April 16th from 9am to 2pm.
