Online Listing Leads to Arrest

A former roommate is arrested after a stolen bike is located.

Police arrested 27-year-old Justin Charlton of Salina, after his former roomate found his stolen “Gary Fisher Bicycle” listed for sale online at a Salina pawn shop.

Police say back on August 25th, the bike, valued at $850 was taken from a residence in the 800 block of Highland.

Police used paperwork Charlton signed at Salina Pawn and Jewelry to charge him with theft, false writing and theft by deception.
