Constance   Marie  (Davis) Feeney

Constance (Connie) Marie (Davis) Feeney age 67, of Olathe, formerly of Hope passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the Royal Terrace Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Olathe surrounded by the ones she loved. She was born August 20, 1946 in Herington, Kansas to Albert Gordon and Margaret (Morgan) Davis.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Gordon Davis and Kevin Davis as well as her beloved husband David Feeney.

She is survived by -
Sons: Gordon & his wife Julie Oakley of Louisburg, Kansas
Christopher Riffel of Houston, Texas
Daughter: Robin Suppe of Houston, Texas
Step sons: Shawn & his wife Bobbie Feeney of Wichita, Kansas
Travis & his wife Chris of Wichita, Kansas
Ryan & his wife Adrianne Feeney of Talmage, Kansas
Brother: Craig & his wife Sharon Davis of Lawrence, Kansas
Sister: Christine & her husband Walker Riker of Wyoming
Sister-in-law: Donna Davis of Garden Plain, Kansas
Nine grandchildren
Three nieces and nephews
Numerous friends and family members

Connie loved her family very much and would do anything for them. Her favorite activities included spending time with her family, playing with her grandchildren, dancing and just plain being silly.

She fought a long battle with Alzheimers and dementia while her faith stayed strong until the very end.

Mass of Christian Burial for Connie will be 10:30 Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the St. Columba Catholic Church in Elmo with Father Mark Wesely as Celebrant.

A Parish Rosary will be 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Carlson-Becker Funeral Home in Hope.

Her final resting place will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery south of Elmo.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Foundation or to Catholic Charities USA. With these donations her memory can live on through new treatments and compassionate care of others.
