Brunhilde   K.  Garman

Brunhilde K. Garman, 82, of Salina, passed away in the arms of her loving family, Wednesday, May 7, 2014. She was born April 9, 1932 in Meiningen, Germany.

Raised in Germany, she had many experiences in her younger years during World War II.

She married Steve Garman Jr. in Schweinfurt on June 9, 1956 and had 7 children.

She was thought of dearly by her children and grandchildren as a loving mother, grandmother and also great grandmother. Much of her life was devoted to the care of her family, taking on the role of both mom and dad while her husband was away serving our country. She will be missed dearly and lovingly by all of her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Steve Garman Jr. August 2003. Her parents, Paula and Felix Guder. In-laws, Steve and Jane Garman, 2 great grandchildren, Calvin Tracy and Melina Garman.

Hannnelore Hemmy of Salina
Margrit Ballanger and husband Mark of Centerville, IA
Paulette Guzman and husband Tony of Salina
Two sons: Steve Garman and wife Colleen, of Salina
Alex Garman of Elletsville Indiana
16 grandchildren
23 great grandchildren

Visitation will be at Monday 1:00 to 8:00 pm, with the family receiving guests from 6:00 to 8:00 at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 East Crawford, Salina, KS. 67401

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at the chapel.
