Jacqueline Ada Thompson
Jacqueline (Jacque) Ada Thompson passed away March 18, 2014. She was born to Guy Strong and Mable Strong Veach on September 4, 1925, in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Jacque and her husband, Wayne, moved to KS City, MO in June 2012 to be hear their family. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary August 29, 2012. Wayne passed away on December 12, 2012.
Jacque worked for First National Bank, later Sunflower Bank, as a teller and also in the loan department. She retired after working there for 24 years. She was also a proud and active member of Credit Women International. She enjoyed this organization and met many lifelong friends.
After her retirement, she not only taught herself how to use the computer, but volunteered many hours at the Senior Citizen Center teaching others.
Jacque was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and a cherished friend of many.
Proceeding her in death were her parents, step father, Marshall Veach, husband, Wayne, and brother, John E. Strong.

Four Grandchildren: Richard Ellis
Melia (Chris) Tindall
Kevin (Katherine) Schneider
Two Great Grandchildren: Ryan and Tyler Tindall
Graveside Services will be at 1 pm Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina KS.
There will be no visitation.
