Obituary

Sandra Jean Johnson, 57, of Solomon, Kansas, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family and friends. She was born January 21, 1957 in Salina, Kansas, the daughter of Paul and Jean (Kelly) Luke.

She graduated from Solomon High School with the class of 1975.

On May 7, 1976 she was united in marriage to Frank Johnson in Solomon.

Sandy worked as a Product Merchandiser for Procter and Gamble. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Solomon.

Daughter: Erin Parret, husband, Travis and step-son, Tanner of Salina
Son: Kirk Johnson and Abbie Nestler of Overland Park, KS
Brother: Randy Luke and wife, Karen of Wichita, KS
Brother-in-law: Mark Johnson and wife, Susan
Niece: Kelli Johnson and fiancé, Drew Pettijohn
Nephew: Brady Johnson and wife, Jenny
Great-nephew: Luke

She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Luke and sister, Sharon Johnson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Solomon with Fr. Tom Hoisington officiating.

Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Solomon.

An open visitation will be held at Carlson-Becker Funeral Home of Solomon starting Monday from 9 A.M until 8:00 P.M. and Tuesday 9 A.M. until 8 P.M.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Animal Shelter of Salina or to the Hospice of Dickinson County and may be sent in care of Carlson-Becker Funeral Home, PO Box 308, Solomon, Kansas 67480.
