Lois L. Cissna, 97, passed away Monday, March 3rd, at her home in Abilene. She was born September 4, 1916 in Abilene; the daughter of Thomas L. and Willa (Wilks) Welsh, where she grew to womanhood.

Lois attended local schools and graduated from Abilene High School with the class of 1933. She had attended Ward Belmont College of Nashville, Tennessee.

In 1934, she was married to Harry Irwin Cissna. The early years of their married life were spent in Beatrice Nebraska, Palm Springs California, Overland Park Kansas, McAllen, Texas and Milford Lake, Kansas.

For the last forty years she has made her home in Abilene.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1971 and a brother, Thomas L. Welsh in 1979.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 8th, from the Abilene First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Robert H. Frasier officiating.

Interment will follow in the Abilene Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Danner Funeral Home.

The family suggests memorial contributions in her name be given to the Abilene First Presbyterian Church. They may be left at the church the day of the service or left at or sent in care of the Danner Funeral Home POB 758 Abilene, Kansas 67410.
