Christopher "Diggity Dykes" Dykes, 30, of McPherson, Kansas, passed away at 1:58 p.m., Monday, February 3, 2014 while in the company of family members, at Via Christi ,St. Francis , Wichita, Kansas. Christopher was born in McPherson, Kansas on May 25, 1983, a son of Lorraine J (Griego) Dykes and Rex Duane Dyke I.
Christopher attended the Washington grade school, McPherson Middle School, and graduated from McPherson High School, McPherson, Kansas in 2001. Christopher was a DJ and owned and operated Solo Entertainment throughout his career, he also worked for his parents at Griegos Janitorial Service, for Kansas Cylinder Head, for Chrome Plus, and for Taco Bell before his illness.
In high school, Christopher was involved with F.F.A. and the Art Guild. He was also a member of the Solo Society Car Club of McPherson, Kansas where he served as Vice President. Christopher loved his job, DJing, his nieces and nephews, Sahya was very special to him, and his canine companion, Louie. He spent many hours working on cars and spending time with family and friends. He never met a stranger and was willing to help anyone.

Maternal grandmother: Bennie Griego, of Albuquerque, New Mexico
Nieces and nephews: Bailly Dykes
Special niece: Sahya Bicksler
Canine companion: Louie Dog
Other relatives and many friends
Christopher was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, LeRoy and Cleo Dykes, his maternal grandfather, Ernest Griego, and his brother, Rex Duane Dykes II.
Visitation and time of remembrance will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 with the visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. and time of remembrance led by Hank the Mechanic will begin at 8:00 p.m. at the Glidden - Ediger Chapel, McPherson, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Christopher Dykes Memorial Fund and they can be sent in care of the Glidden - Ediger Funeral Home; 222 West Euclid Street; McPherson, Kansas 67460.
