Pauline Carlile, 91, of Sedalia, MO passed away November 29, 2013 at the Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center in Sedalia.

She was born July 17, 1922 in Green, KS, the daughter of Fred and Marie (Siihsmuth) Rieger.

Pauline was raised in the Green, Kansas community and attended Green schools. She married George Carlile on December 8, 1941 and he preceded her in death on April 24, 1993. She and her husband farmed until retiring in 1968. Pauline was an Avon representative in the area for many years. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

She is preceded in death by a daughter, Arlene Kibbe, and 10 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by:
Sons: Daniel and wife Charlene Carlile, Indianola, IA; William and wife Scarlet Carlile, Sedalia, MO
Grandchildren: Eight grand, 12 great-grand, two great-great-grandchildren

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home in Clay Center, KS with Pastor Paul Tessaro officiating.

Burial will take place at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, KS.

Visitation will be on Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 9:00 AM until service time at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home.
