Steven J. Hill, 66, lifelong resident of Salina, died Sunday, November 24, 2013 at his home.

He was born March 11, 1947 in Salina, the son of LeRoy and Rosemary (Bates) Hill.

Mr. Hill owned and operated the Hill Auto Body Shop in Salina. He served in the US Army in Vietnam as a SP4 with HHC, 3dBN, 10th INFL DIV. He attended the Woodbine Methodist Church.

He married Gloria M. Middleton on March 15, 1970, at the Woodbine Methodist Church; she survives.

He is also survived by:
Son: Jason Hill and wife Carrie of Woodbine
Daughter: Sharalyn Davis and husband Jon of Salina
Brothers: James Hill, SR. and wife Sandy, Allen Hill and wife Margaret, both of Salina
Grandchildren: Tyler, Brianna, & Alice Hill, Aubrey Sams, Chaylen & Bane Davis

He is preceded in death by his sister Susan McConnell, and his parents.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, November 30, 2013 at the United Methodist Church, Woodbine, with Rev. Carol Moore-Ramey officiating.

Inurnment will be in the Woodbine Cemetery.
