Linda Kaye Hackett, 60, from Clay Center, Kansas passed away Friday, November 15, 2013.

She was born on July 23, 1953, the daughter of Eugene and Wilma (Cooney) Lenter.

Linda was raised in Clay Center and graduated from Clay Center Community High School. She married Russell Hackett on November 18, 1983 in Clay Center and he survives of the home.

She worked for Thermaseal for 10 years with her husband and then has worked as a housekeeper at Cedar Court Motel in Clay Center. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge of Clay Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include:
Husband: Russell Hackett, Clay Center
Sister: Louise Kadel, Clay Center

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Hill Presbyterian Church in Oak Hill, KS with Pastor FrankLyn Schroeder officiating.

Burial will be held at Rose Meron, Clay County, KS.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 18, 2013 from 3-8 PM at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home.
