Matt Graber, 36, of McPherson, Kansas, passed away at 8:15 p.m., Monday, November 4th, while in the company of family members and friends, at his home.
Matthew was born in Freeman, South Dakota on November 11, 1976, the son of Jill R. (Preheim) and Donovan R. Graber.
Matt attended the Roosevelt Grade School, Newton, attended and graduated from Moundridge Middle School and Moundridge High School, Moundridge, Kansas in 1995.
He was a lifetime member of Eden Mennonite Church Moundridge, Kansas where Matt was a member of Eden Youth Fellowship. After moving to McPherson and because of transportation limitations he attended area churches, First Presbyterian Church, New Hope Evangelical Church, and Morning Star Baptist Church.
Matt was a office worker for Farmers Alliance Insurance Company from 1999 to 2002. He then became a Stockman for Dillons Grocery Store, McPherson since 2002.
Matt was a member of the Boy Scouts of Newton, Kansas, Multi Community Diversified Services, Disability Supports of the Great Plains and New Beginnings of McPherson. Matt loved working on his computer, going to Movies, and going out to eat with family and friends.

Parents: Jill R. Zerger and her husband Dick , of Moundridge, Kansas, and Pastor Donovan R. Graber, of Galva, Kansas
Siblings: Melinda K. Graber, of Hesston, Kansas and Micah J. Graber, of Galva, Kansas
Paternal grandmother: Mary Ida Graber, of Newton, Kansas
Maternal grandparents: Calvin (Jim) and Dorothy Preheim, of Freeman, South Dakota
Other relatives and a host of friends
Matt was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Ralph Graber.
Friends are invited to call on Sunday, November 10, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Glidden - Ediger Chapel, McPherson, Kansas.
The funeral service will be held at New Hope Evangelical Church, McPherson, Kansas, at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 11, 2013 with Associate Pastor George Bocox and Pastor Donovan Graber of the United Church of Christ, Haven, Kansas officiating.
