Obituary

Ed L. Enyart, 78, passed away Monday, October 21st, in Abilene.

He was born February 15, 1935 at Detroit, Kansas, the son of Lee and Edna (Nichols) Enyart.

Growing up in the area, he attended local schools and graduated from Chapman High School with the class of 1954. After High School he worked construction.

On August 30, 1965 he married Judy McVicker. Most all of their married life has been spent in Abilene.

Ed had been employed in the civil service at Ft. Riley for 26 years and then the Abilene Cemetery. He was an Army veteran having served in Germany.

Ed was a member of the Solomon Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Isis Shrine, lifelong member of the VFW and 50 yr. member of the Elks Lodge.

He is survived by:
Wife: Judy Enyart, Abilene
Son: Vance Enyart, Abilene
Sister: Kay Sanders, Abilene
Two Grandchildren

Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Thursday, October 24th, at the Danner Funeral Home, Rev. Stan Norman officiating with cremation following the service.

The family will receive friends 5:30 to 6:30 P.M. Wednesday, October 23rd, at the Danner Funeral Home.

The family suggests memorial contributions in his name be made to the Shriners Childrens Travel Fund. They may be left at or sent in care of the Danner Funeral Home POB 758 Abilene, Kansas 67410.
