Leigh Ann Van De Creek, 67, passed away Saturday, October 19th, in Chapman.

She was born March 22, 1946 in Beloit, the daughter of Waldo L. and Leta L. (Lorimor) Walker.

Her early childhood was spent in Mankato, where she attended grade school until the family moved to Abilene in 1957. Leigh Ann graduated from Abilene High School with the class of 1964 and attended 2 years at Brown Mackie College.

On November 6, 1965 she was married to Bill L. Van De Creek. All of their married life has been spent in Abilene.

She was employed for 44 years by S.R.S. in Abilene, retiring in 2009 as office supervisor.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Son: Scott (Carie) Van De Creek, Salina
Sister: Susan Walker, Perkins, OK
Brother: Doug (Doris) Walker, Abilene

Funeral services will be held 10:30A.M. Wednesday, October 23rd, at the Danner Funeral Home with Fr. Henry Baxa officiating.

Interment will follow in the Mt. St. Joseph Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 5:30P.M. to 6:30P.M. Monday, October 21st at the Danner Funeral Home.

The family suggests memorial contributions in her name be given to the Abilene High School Athletic Program or the Hospice of Dickinson County.
